Welcome to the south of France, for this INKjet-Setter Summit, 2018. I’m here because I have a group that I’m on the board of directors of, which is the International Printers Network, and Xerox, when they run events, they invest in their customers and they’ve invested in our group, to bring them here to help our group understand, what they can benefit from using this inkjet technology. Our focus as a company is obviously in helping you on this digital transformation journey. I’m here today to understand how inkjet technology may have an impact on my business and my customers’ business’. What are you doing in terms of extra value? Because just doing the manufacturing
perfectly, is probably not enough. To see how other clients are already using inkjet to differentiate in the market, that was very valuable to me. What inspires you to be in this business today? Now, with inkjet, we’ve got a different position with our customer. Going from offset, actually to digital
printing, it’s a huge transformation. It’s only when you hear what it’s doing in real life for customers, and from print providers, that are making money from it is when it actually starts to sink in, and then you understand where it could work for your business. It does help being in the factory, because we’re not only looking at the equipment as it’s running, and seeing what the quality is like, but we’re actually watching the guys put the machinery together, which is quite interesting. So getting underneath the panel, was an understanding of, what’s it’s running speeds what’s it’s limitations, what’s the quality like. Understanding wether inkjet has potential. I think now with inkjet technology, we are able to provide products being on the quality level of offset, so it’s more competitive. We are learning everyday, thanks to you. I truly believe that we are in the most exciting time ever in the history of the world, to be in marketing.
