Special Olympics hosts bowling tournament


Area bowlers are overcoming challenges today for the sake competition. The Special Olympics held their annual Northern Regional Bowling tournament at both All Star and South Lanes. Around 200 bowlers of different strenghts and abilities competed today for a chance to advance to the southwestern state tournament in Madison. Compeitiors ranged from 8 years old to even 70 years old. One compeitor says no one should think they can’t do what they love. Don’t think like that! If you there is someway you can bowl, do it! Don’t let your disabilites stop you. To enter the tournament . bowlers had to enter an average score from 15 different games.
