Smanos SS-20 Indoor Siren

Smanos SS-20 Indoor Siren

Hello there! This is the smanos SS-20 indoor siren which works with the smanos K1 smart home security system. This elegant device is equipped with a 90dB siren which will not let any intruder go unnoticed. It is ideal for placement in hallways, rooms, or any indoor space that allows the sound to be heard clearly. When any of your K1 intrusion sensors is triggered a signal is sent to the K1 hub which simultaneously notifies you and sends a signal to this siren. Upon receiving the signal the siren releases a loud warning sound which can last up to 5 minutes, depending on your preferences. The installation of the SS-20 is very simple using the smanos home app. Use the lever tool in your K1 kit to remove the back cover of the siren. Select the K1 from your list of devices and go to the accessories section. Press the + sign to add new accessories and choose “wireless siren” from the menu. You can now see the step-by-step instructions on your screen. Pull the battery strap out of the siren, press the “start pairing” button in your app and click the tamper switch on the back of the device 3 times. You can find the sensor in your smanos home app in the accessory overview after pairing. Here you can set the name and location of your siren, adjust the alarm volume and duration, set an arm/disarm sound, set the alarm strobe light and check the battery status of the device. Before mounting, start the testing mode in the K1 app. Check the signal strength between the K1 hub and the siren by triggering it near the place where you want to mount it. The SS-20 siren is now ready for mounting. Place the back cover on the wall with the help of the mounting materials provided in its product box. Make sure the UP arrow on the base is pointing vertically to the ceiling. Then lock the siren into place. It is best to place the SS-20 in a difficult to reach spot. Your smanos indoor siren is now ready to guard. For more information visit www.smanos.com or find us on Facebook and Twitter for latest updates. Thank you for watching and see you next time!
