Indoor rowing technique tips from Helen Glover

I think #SheRows campaign is a really
important but also exciting way that British Rowing are trying to get 10,000
more people into rowing by 2021 so in terms of rowing technique it is quite
important because you want to protect your back as well as having a good
workout so my first tip would be think about the fact that the legs are the
most important thing is the pushing movement so you push with the legs you
do it once a better time to stop there so your arms now your body that’s it
perfect exactly spots on you’ll find that you arrive at the front here with
your body just totally ready there my second tip would be to make sure your
shoulders are nice and relaxed you don’t want to have any touching keeping your
shoulders really get that handle to your shins so now what you’ll find is you’re
not having to jump over your knees with your hand or when you get it right
you’ll notice exactly like you I’m out of this handle make a total straight
line from your body all the way through there
