Hudson’s Bay bowling team makes splash at state championships

OUR ATHLETE OF THE WEEK STORY, THE BOWLING TEAM IN VANCOUVER. THE EAGLES DID SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL. DAVID BRINGS US THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS. IT STARTED IN 2007. WE DIDN’T KNOW A LOT. SO WE LEARNED. THESE GIRLS ARE DEDICATED. MANY OF THEM BOWL IN SUMMER LEAGUE’S. THEY BOWL YEAR-ROUND. IF YOU WANT TO STAY — WE TRIED IT OUT. WE LOST A COUPLE OF MATCHES. THEN WE STARTED TO GET INTO A RHYTHM. WE COULD ACTUALLY DO THIS. WE STARTED TO PICK UP IN OUR LEAGUE MATCHES. OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE IT TO STAY. WE REPEATED TO EARN THE RIGHT TO GO TO STAY. THE ONLY WAY WE WIN IS IF WE CAN ALL COME TOGETHER. AT THE STATE TOURNAMENT WE PLACED SECOND. THE HIGHEST WE’VE EVER PLACED. THE FACT THAT WE CAN GO THERE AND WE COMPETED, THAT IS AWESOME. IT SHOWS YOU CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING YOU SET YOURSELF TO. IF YOU WANT TO YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT. WE WERE EXTREMELY PROUD. IT IS EXTREMELY AWESOME. IT IS JUST REALLY COOL.
