Today is about the new X-Treme Angular One from Ebonite. Since this ball is an international rele ase, it is not available in the normal Ebonite ball catalogue and is exclusively available from us in Europe The X-treme Angular One is a new release from one of the most successful series Ebonite has created so far. The basis of this ball is the original One which was released in the middle of 2000 years. The newest ball from the One series in the catalogue was the Real One.
Now for the technical specifications, X-treme Angular One has the GB14.0 Solid Coverstock and a 2000 Grit Abralon Box finish. This surface was already used in Ebonite Maverick and promises a strong even Reaction. As core the ball has the Contrex Symmetric Mass Bias core with RG values at 15lbs of 2.46, a differential of 0.056 as well as an intermediate differential of 0.027. Thus there is a very strong asymmetric core in this ball. The ball is available in the weights 13-16lbs The ball will be played by Columbia 300 Staffer Clemens Ulsamer. His layout on the ball is 35x5x50 The game is played at the Rottendorfer Bowling Center on the House Pattern which is 41 feet long. You will now see some Shots from Clemens and get a conclusion from me. I wish you a lot of fun with the Shots and see you soon. Welcome back. I will tell you now my conclusion to this ball. The X-treme Angular didn’t surprise me very much, but he does exactly what he should do. The Ball has a relatively early rolling phase due to the solid surface, but doesn’t lose too much energy too early due to the asymmetric core. For me this ball is a good ball especially on fresh conditions with oil length of 40-45 feet. It will show itself by the oil milling and a reaction. This will be relatively angular due to the core, which is usually rare in this segment. I would compare this ball with the Storm Crux Prime, which has a similar reaction. Players who have less rotation will find this ball very versatile. Players with more rotation will only be able to use the ball on fresher or very dry conditions. I hope you enjoyed our video.
