>>Tanner: And make some money.>>Jarom: After a 78-63 win, last night the men’s basketball coaching staff likely was up all night preparing for number four Kansas now. Ten naturally, Cody is probably still away from the win. And joins us on the desert first credit union hotline. Cody, how is Hawaii, and two congratulation oz. Win?>>Hawaii is great. When you win. And yeah, thank you we are pretty happy about it. How many hours of sleep did you get last night.>>Probably four or five.>>That’s pretty good.>>Yeah.>>Jarom: 9:51 to go, it is tied at 52. What changes in the last seven minutes there that swung that game?>>We just kind of dug down and did exactly what was helping us score. Before that game we talked our guys about the ore teams we watched play. They packed it more than two times against UCLA, may scored about 60% of their possessions. So we talked to that about our team. And kind of reinforced the game plan. And that kind of jumped in and stays with it and going along with that note, in the last ten minutes T.J. Haws stepped it up. So what is his performance due for him going forward?>>It is huge for them. Struggling a little bit shooting the ball. Like he has been playing well, but just kind of struggling shooting. And he got jumped a little bit and he answered the bell.>>.>>Jarom: It was a nice response to have that performance and struggle for 30 minutes. And that the game plan, let’s get at the rim?>>Well, it was. Let’s be sure on these shots. Hey, if we aren’t 100% sure, let’s keep the dribble alive and make the easy play. And that’s what I got stuck to, and they found lake for an easy lay up, and that’s what our game plan was. So the coach has talked a lot about the team trusting each over, do you think last night was a prime example of that? Of what this team can do when they do trust each other?>>Exactly. Boise, obviously, the ball was sticky a little bit. But they just kept passing and passing the we got wide open shots and wide open finishes at the rim, and guys just make great plays on the stretch.>>You knew that you could face Kansas in run two, so you certainly prepared for it, but now that it is here and you are playing number four team in the country, and have this amazing opportunity. What is the preparation like for potentially the best team you may play all season?>>So offensively kit be similar we have watched film on them already and got to watch the fame last night live. And they are huge. And long, and big and physical. That will be the most physical team we have played so far. Mike these fries rotate. Really similar offensive game plan. Like we did last night, and then defensively. They have not been a team that has shot it that well. But they shot it well yesterday. They got those two BIGS that they have been playing with. And we will try to make these guys kind of beat us from the outside a little bit. And then rebounding the ball. Rebounding is number one for us. So yeah offensively we have to make those, and defensively, make those guys beat us from the outside.>>62% shooting would be nice again too. That would help.>>That would be good, but the ball is flying around, and wasn’t sticking and obviously we had a couple like Jake’s hook from the free throw line.>>Jarom: That was amazing.>>It was a big play, and just guys are stepping up and making big shots. On December 201,960th, BYU beat Kansas by 10. Really.>>Jarom: Go watch that film today, whey they did without the shot clock probably won’t apply.>>It was barely a 2-point line. That was everywhere. Congratulations on the great win, and good luck tonight against Kansas it should be a fun one.>>Thank you, appreciate it.>>December rett first, you know why we show how.>>Tanner: Absolutely. And one can never have enough bill Walton.>>Jarom: No, it is impossible. You can’t.>>Tanner: So coming up we will give you the best of bill, or the worst of bill.>>Jarom: It depends. The% or the worst of bill Walton.>>Jarom: And legendary player, olympian player, turn broadcaster, great to have him here.
