Good morning everyone. Today I’m going to Epcot with Suleiman it’s just him and I I’ve been spending this whole morning
just prepping our bags. because tomorrow morning we are flying
out. Unfortunately, in the afternoon, but the Disney Express is always four hours before for international flights so iinshaAllah we’re gonna be leaving at like
8:30 tomorrow morning from here and I’ve just kind of packed a Disney bag over
here and yes we got one of those balloons by the way, be sure that you
buy it at the beginning of the trip because it actually lasts a long time.
Like this is since the beginning of the trip you can never be too prepared when
you’re by yourself with a toddler I already have my bottles of milk for him packed I have snacks in the first compartment. I have
lots of diapers – at least ten diapers with me wipes a full pack. He is drinking
more on vacation. Pack extra milk when you’re here, because it’s very hot and your child is more likely to drink just more milk – in general and then I packed three pairs of change, because I don’t know how messy he’s gonna get Epcot. At Magic Kingdom he did get pretty messy. It’s really easy, just a couple shirts for a baby that doesn’t take up much space at all.
Then I packed an empty canister for myself to fill with ice water my DIY Disney ears, so I can wear them at the park and I packed him a hat and we also
have sunscreen, of course. Definitely wear a higher SPF. I was wearing I think
35 or 40 from Dermalogica. I definitely recommend a higher SPF than that. Right now, I’m back to my Neutrogena I’m wearing 60 SPF and I layered it on so
hopefully I don’t get any more spots like that inshaAllah, but I highly recommend
that also bring a diaper rash cream because of the heat they tend to be more
prone to diaper rash two fuel rods, because batteries die fast in the heat
especially with my phone I found that at Magic Kingdom, I just couldn’t keep my phone alive. so bringing that. and I also brought an actual charger, because we did
find a place to charge my phone but I didn’t have the charger thinking that I
wouldn’t find a spot and now I’m just gonna head down, because we’re gonna go and have coffee there’s a specialty coffee area here at the Disney Beach Club Resort. They do it’s called, like a coffee lounge? I’m gonna go there and get some
coffee and just kind of relax before we go the day that I paid for starts at 1:00pm, so I should be heading down there soon So this area is called the Solarium it’s here at the Disney Beach Club Resort. It’s open: from
5:30am to 12pm and they do premium coffees and they do some pastries.
I’m gonna grab some now and just kind of sit down enjoy this beautiful weather. I have an almond croissant and the cappuccino All the cups have Walt Disney quotes on them. Suleiman is just over here. Awh Suleiman. Habibi. I’m going to take a bite out of this. Not bad. Obviously we have better ones in Montreal Anyways, there’s two ways to get to Epcot from the Disney Beach Club Resort you can walk It’s literally 5-10 minutes max and then the other way is by boat they come every 10 to 20 minutes and they’re at the marina and they take about 10 minutes, 40 mins until my pass starts. I did a half day pass for today, because I knew I wasn’t gonna go early morning So I didn’t want to spend the extra 50 bucks. Today we’re just gonna go to Epcot and I’m going to take him around there. I have a couple things planned. I can’t wait to share that with you, because I did look into this for toddlers. This is Epcot has kind of a world thing to it. so we’re gonna go down to the Japan pavilion. I’m gonna take you around all the different pavilions, hopefully, as many as I can and then I’ll show you the first ride that I have planned for today. So there’s like an Eiffel tower over here. The Pagoda down there. This is the UK over here. Where I just saw Alice walk by from Alice in Wonderland. Morocco Pavilion. It feels like we just entered an Arab world. Here you can find a place to pray. Ask and they will guide you. Look how cool that is. It has Arabic calligraphy on it. This show that you see over here, under the Pagoda. Is called a Matsuriza. It’s a traditional Japanese drumming. It really feels like I’m back in Japan. And I’ve been to Japan. So I can honestly say that. Yeah that’s amazing! You can hear the drums as soon as you walk into Epcot. Which is really cool. And this is where it plays. They have multiple showtimes. You can definitely put this into your plans and come back and watch a show whenever. It honestly feels like we are in Japan. They even have a Mitzukoshi! which is very traditional Japanese department store.
It is Japanese owned and it is here. so I’m gonna go inside. Let’s see if I can find anything.
and also it’s a good chance for A.C All your plush toys. Hello Kitty, of course. The Pokemon stuff. Pikachu is down there. Then, of course, they have a variety of KitKat’s Here at the Japan pavilion you can also pick out your own pearls and have some custom made jewellery and when you do that. There’s like a special drumming ceremony for you as well. They’re so beautiful. Just like in Japan. They have a marketplace, where you can get some Japanese sodas. Ramune. You can find some chips, matcha – of course – over here. They have motchi. Because it’s Japan and just basically any snack you can find here. Everyone, this is bringing back so many
memories of Japan. I have to leave and go to lay of the land, which is my first fast pass of the day, it’s all the way on the other side of the park That’s why I had to leave Mitsukoshi department store early. You have to pay a premium price, but if
you’re nostalgic and you want to get some actual Japanese snacks.
I would totally head over there Gonna make my way now to lay the land, which is a really great ride for toddlers because it’s a slow boat ride. They take
you through what they grow here on Disney. It is a greenhouse – type of thing.
So it’s nice. I’ve heard that it has A.C I hope that’s true inshallah. I’m
using fast pass, so I don’t have to wait too long for Suleiman. I think he’ll
enjoy it, because he likes the slow boat rides. If your toddler’s also the same –
a young toddler – it’s made for all ages There’s an Alice in Wonderland meet up. You can make a plan, like I said earlier. You can see the red photo-booths. There’s one down there. I’ll walk towards them now. but you can do great little photo ops here. The phones. are actually functioning. you can call people and be like, “Hey! I’m calling from the U.K” This area for a photo op.
If you wanna hype up your gram a bit there’s a photo op right there. They have a Canada pavilion here at Epcot. and apparently you can get poutine here. I would definitely recommend that and I think if you go to the cellar they have actually a specialty poutine that you can order as well there’s that iconic dome at Epcot. This is future world, that I’m walking towards. because that’s where the first ride is that I booked for today. If you want to do most of the rides. A lot
of them are here by the dome in future world especially for toddlers. I’m gonna
be doing “Living with the Land” I keep messing it up, but it’s the boat ride.
I’m excited to take Suleiman on there He’s a little bit tired. We’ll see if he
sleeps after this. yay we made it to “Living with the Land” I’m sweating, because wrangling this kid is a chore! That ride was perfect! There was AC. It was
slow and it was informative It was just relaxing. He chilled the
whole time. He didn’t jump at all. Just before he went on that ride though. He
threw a wild tantrum and luckily thank God for fast passes, because honestly
without fast passes you end up waiting at least 20 minutes to half an hour for
that ride at this time So he threw a wild tantrum. My hijab is all over the place. I’m just going to the washroom fix myself up a bit and then we’re gonna go
to the next ride, which is right here it’s the Finding Nemo one. I tried to
book all the rides really close together, so I don’t have to deal with a tantrumming toddler. He did lose his shoe and then we found it luckily right now I’m just like I said gonna freshen up because this hijab. Ooh looking dangerous
right now after that last tantrum another thing about the washrooms is if
they have A.C. So it’s a really good place to cool off, Our stroller is really hot. If I were to do this again, I would bring a cover or something for the stroller so when it’s not in use it doesn’t get hot, because the seat is very hot and so is the handle bar. Just outside the Finding Nemo ride. You’re going to find the seagulls. That start saying, “mine! mine!” Every 15 mins. It’s so cool. I have a fast pass for this as well. So, I’m gonna go there. He just had a bottle of milk.
He should be hydrated and ready to go. We are at the Finding Nemo ride ooh ooh there’s
the wall here, but watch yourself it’s dark We made it onto the ride. That was another really good ride for
us it was nice and slow there was A.C it had Nemo and all the gang and they
were talking to you. It was interactive. It did stall a couple times, which I wasn’t
upset about, because I just meant staying longer in the AC, which is always welcome
when you’re in Orlando Right now, I’m going to walk around with him. Hopefully
he’ll take a nap in the stroller for a bit Before our next ride and I’m also gonna
try to find a bite to eat I might head back to the world pavilion, because I
like the international food selection and see what I can find there I know
there’s some specialty snacks here at Epcot Let’s go get some lunch in, because
I’m ready to eat Decided to walk by the other way. This is Mexico pavillion. I’m going to walk through the countries that I didn’t see. Because the world is a circle, so you can walk around the world in the world In the world showcase. This is Mexico over here and then I think just beyond that is going to be Norway This is the Norway pavillion – I believe. You can hear the music as soon as you enter. and here we are arriving to China [oriental music plays] We just passed India. India and Africa
were surprisingly small. this is the Germany pavillion, which is rather big Doesn’t really make sense. India and Africa are huge in the world. I don’t know why they make those bigger. For the child that enjoys trains and figurines. Over in Germany. You can enjoy this beautiful train set up that they have here. Just like yesterday I was just in Italy Because I was basically just a couple weeks ago oh here we are, this is the Italian
Pavilion. You can obviously grab nice italian food. And they have a Venice type set up. It definitely does feel like Venezia This is America. I had to. This is the American Pavillion. There’s American Adventures. They have good food here as well. This is where I’m going to try and grab a bite to eat. It’s called, Katsura Grill. There’s ramp up the side, by the pagoda – for those with strollers I got some shrimp tempura. It’s a little pricey, but it’s okay I really wanted this this is the Tokyo sushi combo – we have California rolls with nigiri We have sushi rice for Suleiman and a little edamame. I got ice water which I filled in my bottle. I’m gonna go ahead eat my sushi. let’s start with a basic California roll This is beautiful. I’m in the section of Morocco right now. Next door to the Japan Pavillion. You can shop around here. It smells like “misq”. If you’re Arab, you already know that it is An Arabic gum almost? The details with the lanterns. Back at Future World and ready for the next ride. This music is so hype and fountain is actually dancing to the music. If you didn’t know, there you go. The next attraction is Spaceship Earth. I have a fast pass for this, because I’m not leaving anything to chance. Look who woke up from his nap all sweaty and tired. He had a very good nap. Alhamdulillah I got to eat lunch
I do have food for him, he’s not quite hungry yet Maybe after the show all right we’re on the ride it’s A.C in here the key with the fast passes. Is use them for A.C, because honestly you’re
gonna want to get into something with AC this is inside the dome of the Epcot circle thing. This is a must on the list So we just got off of the spaceship ride. It was great, it was slow, with A.C, it was perfect it was very entertaining and
educational so I really enjoyed it right now, I’m letting Suleiman just kind of
stretch his feet out. He’s running around this is what I do after the rides, because a lot of them have like learning spaces which is basically just a giant A.C area,
that has games and toys for older children. but for a little toddler that just
wants to run around it’s perfect This is where your child can come and paint. The Innovention Pavillion and it’s called, Color Our World. we’re in the color room. “Green is a color that knows how to get
along” “and you can change colors as often as you like” Look at my little picasso over here painting. Wow! Painting everything purple I’m amazed with this pavilion it is basically like empty. There’s no lines at
all and the games are really fun for toddlers and adults alike. They’re educational and fun. We just did the color our world, which is a really nice thing here at the innoventions pavillion This was fun. I highly recommend
that if you want to bring your kid Just to run around and play – this space, it’s
it’s a literal racetrack your child can run around and there’s AC. You can get out of
the heat, chill and let them just color Which is awesome! I can’t get over that and it’s no mess so it’s a win in my books. Suleiman was giggling, because he’s looking at the cranes, which are all over Disney World. “Do you see the cranes? Where are they? Show me. Yeah! Cranes.” I got a cookie. It’s triple chocolate: milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark. Kringla cafe, definitely a yes We just watched a performance over there in the China pavilion. it was the Chinese acrobats And they were doing some tricks and some acrobatics very cool. That was a surprise I was just sitting on the bench and then all of a sudden they’re like, “And now the show begins” There is Snow White, here in Germany, for those who want to meet her. Good thing I went to the washroom and changed him, because he just happened
to have an explosion Alhamdulillah (Thank God) for those washrooms. They’re fully equipped, by the way. if you guys happen to forget wipes or diapers or whatever or you run out while you’re here they actually do have vending machines for them so that’s really helpful there’s also I think a station at every park called, baby care centers and I will link that information down below for those interested in that,
because it’s very helpful. especially when you have a young child is still in diapers Alright guys, so that’s a night. We
finished watching the Illuminations show which I believe is one of the last ones
for this year alright everyone I’m going to call it
a vlog. if you like this vlog, please you be sure to click the like button, subscribe for more content. And I’ll see you next video. Bye-bye!
